ODD FUTURE WOLF GANG KILL THEM ALL !!! - TYLER THE CREATOR, TRON CAT AND WOLF HEYLEY !!!
I love it when I see new talent especially within the realms of the art known as hip hop. A new fresh generation of artists have created a wave as like a tsunami to capture the essence of the art form. Not only through self expression but also by relating to experiences that an artist might personally be dealing with throughout their life journey. Take Tyler The Creator for instance. A 20 year old wrighter, emcee, artist and producer from sunny Los Angles. This guy has taken it upon himself to form a twelve strong hip hop collective known as Odd Future. In just six months a creative video that is written and directed by him called "Yonkers" has amassed 18 million views on YouTube. These guys not only all sound different but also consist of up and coming singer Frank Ocean who was featured on Kanye and Jay-z's Watch The Throne. For me Odd Future is the future and I can appreciate raw talent when I see it.
When I was young I remember listening to the likes of The Wu-Tang Clan, Mobb Deep, Ruff Ryders ect.. All who had a collective of emcees with variations of lyrical flows and content each ditinguishing their styles through character. Today it's very hard to come across an emcee who doesn't sound like another. As in the old school days for those who are avid hip hop listeners you had people such as Eric B & Rakim, EPMD, Brand Nubian, Black Moon, Kool G Rap & Dj POLO, Mc Lyte, Marley Marl and the list goes on. It's good to see that traditions of unity are continuously flowing through the veins of hip hops body. For me Odd future are like a breath of fresh air and some may disagree with my sentiments but I do feel that they are a great collective and very creative.

Tyler The Creator has stuck to my ears through my ipod headphones for some months now and I just can't get enough of his rampant flows about life and doing crazy things. Style wise he will take the listener to a new chamber of thought quite dark and grim to say the least. He is a very quickie character but is also an intelligent one also. Being the front man for the group he has used the element of shock value to stand out and has many views on religion and politics that some may stay well away from. -DISCLAIMER- I would strongly advise parents to be aware of their children listening to such a guy..lol !

Mf Doom is my favourite emcee at the moment and has been for the past five years with PERSONA'S of different characters like Victor Vaughn and King Gedora, Doom also plays the parts of split personalities. As does Tyler with Tron Cat, Wolf Heyley, Ace Creator and Me. The whole split personality thing does it for me due to the fact that tracks don't sound the same and they can fall into characters and have fun with music. For me the whole epitome of hip hop was founded on having fun and living the moment. I just feel that over the years it has taken new directions, some good and some bad. But I would rather feel that the earlier for Odd Future takes place in the minds of others.
